Favorite build: Pininfarina Azzurra. This was the very first full interior custom build, we learned a great deal. There were design and creativity elements that were not used before by AVI. We were given the freedom to experiment.
Favorite part of the job: There is always something new/different. I love seeing client excitement when they see their vision come to reality.
Favorite build: aston martin db11. Basel helped configure the vehicle, had custom wheels tailor made with a fitment that has not been done on this particular vehicle **url*
Built the first “AVI unique product” spacers for the aston build.
Favorite job: Corvette ZR1 gun safe
Favorite part of the job: creativity, having creative freedom for build, job is never the same
Alex has been working on installs since 1996. He started by having a passion for car audio in high school by modifying his Chevy Blazer as he wanted to gain more experience. This started a career at 17, he then opened his own shop at 21 and eventually merged with AVI. Alex loves any music with extreme bass, this created that passion for car audio.
Favorite build: ghostbusters ECTO (creativity)
Part of job: experiencing new things and learning every day
Favorite job: pagani zonda roadster
Jon is an avid video-gamer, sim racer, dog-handler, Bruins fan and loves any Porsche.
Favorite Job: Safely extricating an in-operable 80 mile 50th Anniversary Lamborghini Aventador Roadster from an enclosed trailer that was tipping over. The vehicle had a dead battery, wouldn’t go into neutral, and had no brakes but Corey was able to do the job.
Favorite part of the Job: The cars and look of relief from customers!
Favorite Project: A 1,700 original mile 1994 Porsche 993 that was given to us full of swirls, scratches and imperfections to perform a full paint correction and surface restoration. The transformation on that vehicle was beyond amazing, and the final result was a brand new looking 30+ year old car!
Favorite part of the Job: Being able to transform and restore the cosmetic look on every vehicle we are asked to. The customers’ reaction to the final results and their satisfaction is Juan’s biggest motivation to continue doing what he loves!
As an artist, product engineer, and car enthusiast, Coltin has always gravitated toward the automotive design industry. After earning his degree in industrial design and beginning his career in product design within the retail and commercial interior design industry, Coltin found an opportunity at AVI to truly begin his career in the automotive design sector. With thousands of hours of CAD, CNC manufacturing, and 3D printing experience, he was immediately able to integrate himself into the creative working environment at AVI and began pushing the limits of what was possible with incoming projects through innovative applications of additive manufacturing.
Favorite Build: Land Rover Defender – Project Reaper: This was the first build that Coltin was involved in when first starting at AVI, which involved a fully custom 3D printed interior. This project consisted mostly of designs that started “from the ground up”, including custom door panels, a custom dashboard, and even a custom center console.
Favorite Part of the Job: Every day presents new challenges. There is a lot at stake with each piece of every project, no matter how small. Everything produced through CAD and 3D printed techniques must be perfect; therefore, the final product is extremely rewarding.
